I do not feel that there is anything wrong if women
are asked to venture out wearing decent attires. All
those girls who roam about in their college campuses
with improper apparel only want to show off their
youthfulness and attract the opposite sex by exposing
their "figures". With such motives, how can they ever
expect the boys to look at them with any noble
intentions? There are certainly more civilized ways
of catching the attention of others like studying hard
and actively participating in the extra-curricular
activities of the institution.
Why do we voice our dissent when we witness raunchy
scenes and songs in films? This is because we are
aware that the depiction of such scenes would have a
perverse impact on the impressionable minds of
youngsters.
This same logic even applies in reality.
Although the argument holds steam that women
atrocities would not end completely only by wearing
decent dresses, still this move is a step in the right
direction that would certainly avert many an
embarrassing situation.
