I would like to wish Amitabh Bachchan on his 58th birthday (October 11). Kaun Banega Crorepathi (KBC) has done what none of his recent releases has done to him. It has not only made him once again immensely popular among the masses but have also made the people use those famous words he uses so often in his show 'confident' and 'Lock Kiya Jhai' in their daily references, something which was never witnessed ever since he took a break from films after Khuda Gawah seven years ago.

As the success of this show has shown that people would still appreciate Bachchan if he does something different, he should now do only such films in Bollywood that not only provide him with a powerful role but also allow him to play his age. He should realise that doing those typical stereotype Hindi masala movies is no longer his cup of tea. I wish him success and hope that his popularity scales new heights from all of his future assignments.
